The cows we buy must not only be chemical free, but healthy and gentle. A gentle, happy, healthy cow is one that's raised in good clean environment and it shows in the meat - tender and rich.

Environment
Cattle arive having had nothing but mamma's milk and chemical-free grass.
Once here, the cattle are rotated across several divided pastures to
ensure that the grass they are eating is clean and fresh.
Water sources include three separate spring-fed ponds and an
elaborate rain-water collection system.

Diet
The cattle are fed only what we grow in the pasture:
   * Grass from spring thru fall.
   * Wheat, rye, oats, winter peas, etc. in the winter.
We also provide minerals, such as salt, calcium, magnesium, etc.
Nothing more.
Healty pasture-fed cattle - mostly Black-Angus crosses, in order to deliver to you nothing but pure, healthy, pasture-fed beef.

Chemical Free
Our pastures are fertilized with natural fertilizers and are both Pesticide and Herbicide free.
Most ranches have problems with weeds and apply herbicides to deal with the issue. We have not.
We use sheep and donkeys to “cleanup” our pastures.
Our cattle receive no antibiotics. We provide our cattle with a healthy environment, so it’s rare that
one will get sick. For the rare cases that do, we will offer special care to our animals, but those that cannot recover
without medications are naturally eliminated from our herd – increasing the strength, health, and
viability of the herd overall.
All of this translates to clean, wholesome, pasture-fed beef you can trust.
