The “CowShare” concept allows you to own all or a portion of a cow - our farm only acts as the custodian.
This not only gets you a better quality product, but also at a cheaper price, reducing processing costs and other overhead.
When you own the cow, then you are not required to have it processed USDA, which means having a USDA inspector watching the processing – this adds to the overall cost.

Please note: the processors we use are state inspected facilities, regardless.

How does this work?
You can purchase a cowshare by contacting us.
You’ll be asked to put down a deposit, at which time arrangements for delivery and a delivery date will be set.
You will receive a statement with all of the relevant information at that time.
 
Availability: It’s important to realize that when you contact us, an animal may not be ready for processing immediately.
A list of what’s available and ‘readiness’ will be provided at that time.
If a partial cow is purchased, availability will also depend on matching your request up with other ‘cow-sharers’
